After four months and 16 nights across the UK and Europe, the greatest travelling roadshow in darts has reached its final destination.
The league phase is complete, and now all eyes turn to Finals Night at the O2. Four of the sport’s elite remain in the hunt for the Premier League trophy: Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price, and Nathan Aspinall.

Littler’s Sheffield Statement: Records Tumble on Night 16
Night 16 in Sheffield saw Luke Littler deliver another stunning display in what’s been a remarkable campaign. He set the tone with a 6-1 demolition of Stephen Bunting, averaging 114 and hitting 100% on his doubles, before going on to dispatch Nathan Aspinall and Luke Humphries with composed, professional performances.
‘The Nuke’ has now broken the records for most 180s in a Premier League season, most points in a campaign, and most nights won, a clear reflection of his dominance.
Luke Humphries reached yet another final and never dropped outside the top two in the standings all season. Nathan Aspinall, meanwhile, sealed his place at the O2 with another convincing win over Michael van Gerwen, who looked out of sorts and missed out on Finals Night for just the second time in 13 appearances.
Gerwyn Price led Chris Dobey 5-1 in their quarter-final but was pegged back in a thrilling last-leg decider, as the Geordie produced a ferocious comeback featuring his highest ever televised average. It was a strong finish to Dobey’s campaign, improving on his debut season in 2023.
Rob Cross fell to Luke Humphries in his opener and wrapped up a dismal second half of the campaign with just one win across the final eight nights. He avoided finishing bottom only because Stephen Bunting also lost his opener — coincidentally, to Littler.

Final League Standings: How the Table Shaped Up
Luke Littler capped off a record-breaking campaign with his sixth night win, ending the league phase on 45 points, the highest total ever recorded in the current Premier League format. It was one of the most dominant campaigns in the tournament’s history.
Luke Humphries was a model of consistency, never dropping outside the top two all season. He finished on 34 points, a full 14 clear of the play-off cut-off, with three night wins to his name.
Nathan Aspinall (26 points) and Gerwyn Price (24 points) secured third and fourth spots, respectively. Price had already sealed qualification after Night 14, but two consecutive defeats saw him drop a place, as Aspinall overtook him with back-to-back wins over play-off rival Michael van Gerwen that ended the Dutchman’s hopes.
Michael van Gerwen missed out on the play-offs for just the second time in 13 appearances. It was an inconsistent season for the seven-time champion, who surprisingly failed to win a single night and struggled to string strong performances together.
Chris Dobey finished sixth on 17 points, improving on his 2023 debut. He produced some excellent performances, including his highest ever televised average against Gerwyn Price on Night 16 and a night win earlier in the season. A more consistent start could have seen him push for a play-off place.
Rob Cross finished seventh with 14 points and endured a tough campaign, failing to reach a final or win a night, and managing just one victory in the final eight nights. Stephen Bunting propped up the table with 12 points, largely due to a nightmare start in which he lost eight straight matches. However, he did rally in the latter stages and avoided a winless campaign.
Cross has now finished 9th twice, 6th and 7th across his last four Premier League appearances, continuing a difficult run in the PL. Bunting, meanwhile, ended bottom in his second appearance, matching his eighth-place finish from his 2015 debut.

Play-Offs Fixture Breakdown: What to Expect at the O2 London
Let’s take a closer look at the semi-final matchups for Finals Night at the O2 Arena:
Semi-Finals
(1) Luke Littler vs. (4) Gerwyn Price
These two tend to bring the very best out of each other when they meet. Remarkably, Gerwyn Price is the only PDC player with a positive head-to-head record against Luke Littler, having won 7 of their 13 encounters, including a run of six consecutive victories earlier this year. Littler has produced one of the most dominant Premier League seasons ever, but Finals Night is a one-off. Price will be looking to impose himself once again and deny ‘The Nuke’ under the bright lights of the O2.
(2) Luke Humphries vs. (3) Nathan Aspinall
This semi-final features two players who seem to thrive in each other’s rhythm. Luke Humphries produced a blistering 113 average in a victory over Aspinall on Night 12 in Liverpool, and has won three of their four Premier League meetings this season. ‘Cool Hand’ enters as the favourite, but Nathan Aspinall relishes the underdog tag and will be determined to silence any doubters with a spot in the final on the line.

Final Thoughts: Who Will Reign in London?
A record-breaking crowd of around 14,000 fans is expected at the O2 Arena for what promises to be a spectacular night of darting drama.
Luke Littler and Luke Humphries head into Finals Night as the clear favourites, and many will expect them to contest the decider. But don’t count out Gerwyn Price or Nathan Aspinall, both have the pedigree, belief, and firepower to upset the odds and lift the Premier League trophy.
As for a prediction? It’s hard to look past a Littler vs. Humphries final, with the 18-year-old sensation tipped to go all the way. Already a multiple major winner, ‘The Nuke’ will be aiming to join an exclusive club of Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen as the only players to win back-to-back Premier League titles.
